The People of Cazenovia Can’t be left in the dark

Travis Londo, the Vice President of the Cazenovia school board, was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare Of A Child who is under the age of 12. Additionally, he is facing Federal charges for possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material. As of the morning of Sunday, the 21st of June, 3 days after the arrest, the Cazenovia School District Administration has yet to offer any statement to the public directly, opting instead to give a boilerplate statement to the media, offering no explanation or services for the public.
It gets worse: The district has been posting on Facebook since the incident, but not one thing about what occurred. Standard operating procedure for almost any district is to give at least a tentative explanation and offer counseling to those who may have been affected. The soonest meeting/public forum for discussion of this injustice is not going to be held until mid July. Don’t let this be brushed aside. Use your voice to call for accountability.
